TransparentMedz is a medicine price comparison platform that allows users to compare prescription drug prices across pharmacies in Canada, the United States, and India. We aggregate publicly available pricing data, user-submitted prices, and pharmacy chain information to help consumers find the most affordable options for their medications.

3. Not Medical Advice

TransparentMedz does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. All information on this platform, including AI-generated responses from our pharmacy assistant, is for informational purposes only. Always consult a licensed healthcare provider or pharmacist before making any decisions about your medications. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information you read on TransparentMedz.

4. Price Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date pricing information, prices displayed on TransparentMedz are for informational purposes only and may not reflect the exact price you will pay at a pharmacy. Prices may vary based on your insurance coverage, pharmacy loyalty programs, manufacturer coupons, provincial drug plans, and other factors. Always confirm the final price with your pharmacy before purchasing.

5. User Accounts

You may create an account to access premium features such as price alerts, medication tracking, and AI pharmacist chat. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

6. User-Submitted Content

By submitting prices, reviews, or other content to TransparentMedz, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Service. You represent that you have the right to submit such content and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge. We reserve the right to review, moderate, and remove any user-submitted content.

7. Premium Subscription

TransparentMedz offers a premium subscription plan with additional features. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: (a) submit false or misleading price information; (b) use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the Service without authorization; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts; (d) use the Service for any illegal purpose; (e) interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

9. Limitation of Liability

TransparentMedz and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. This limitation applies to all causes of action, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
